The Maverick Youth Opportunities fund is incredible grateful for the $1500 donation from the graduating teams, 18U Maverick Colts, the 18U Maverick Broncos, the 18U Maverick Mustangs, the 18U Palominos, the 18U Pacers, and the 18U Maverick Stallions.
Giving back to the community is an important value within the Maverick Community, and we applaud all the players, the parents and the incredible coaches, John Spack, Kerry MacLean, Sean Spanton, Bruno Ngeuche, Nick Morin, and Bruce Ashfield for instilling these important qualities within their athletes. You are all the finest example of “Leadership By Example”.
In 2024, the U18 Maverick teams donated $1,000 to the Maverick Youth Opportunities Fund. Bruce Dunning, Sean Spanton, and Judi Shum-Mousseau lead this initiative, recognizing their important role of instilling the important values of charity and gratitude within their athletes.
