The Maverick Youth Opportunities Fund (MYOF) embraces the power of partnerships and are committed to collaborating with all our partners – whether they are corporate, government, not-for-profit, or individuals – to enhance our community for generations to come.

Our Funding Partners

MYOF seeks funding partners that align with our mission and values. Our goal is to create winning partnerships that will fuel programs and empower youth to achieve their full potential.

Our Community Partners

MYOF values partnerships with eligible organizations that will foster long-term relationships built on trust, respect, and shared goals. We are open to opportunities to collaborate, innovate, and make a collective impact to address complex challenges that our youth face.

We Are Proud to Announce our Partnerships

A special thank you to all our partners who truly believe in the power of sport to lift our kids up to reach new opportunities!

📣 New Partnership with Volleyball Canada and Community Organizations

MYOF is very excited to announce that MYOF has been granted $10,000 through the Rise & Rally Grant offered by Volleyball Canada. This grant is funded by the Government of Canada through the Community Sport for All (CSAI) Initiative, which seeks to remove barriers and increase sport participation rates for under-represented groups.

MYOF will partner with five organizations that work with youth in marginalized communities in Ottawa. Thanks to the generous grant, MYOF will be providing quality volleyball equipment and volleyball workshops for youth delivered by NCCP-certified coaches from Maverick Volleyball. Furthermore, it will offer NCCP/Volleyball Canada e-modules and hands-on coaching/mentoring for program coordinators to help each organization deliver quality volleyball programs in the longterm.

We are thrilled to announce the following organizations that will be part of this initiative, including:
