MYOF Announces the 2026 Scholarship Recipients

In front of hundreds of Maverick Volleyball athletes, coaches, volunteers, families, and staff, the Maverick Youth Opportunities Fund (MYOF) had the distinct privilege of presenting its 2026 Scholarships to four exceptional graduating athletes.

This year marked an exciting milestone with the introduction of two new awards: the Kerry MacLean Scholarship and the Christina MacLean Scholarship. These scholarships recognize one male and one female athlete who embody the qualities that Kerry and Christina exemplify every day—passion for volleyball, dedication to giving back to the community, resilience in the face of challenges, and outstanding character both on and off the court.

MYOF also awarded its annual Scholarships of Excellence to one male and one female athlete who demonstrated exceptional achievement in academics, athletics, and community involvement.

The quality of this year’s applications was truly remarkable. Every applicant demonstrated leadership, commitment, and a desire to make a positive impact, making the selection process both inspiring and challenging for the Scholarship Committee.

MYOF is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Scholarships of Excellence:

🏆 Eric Lapner – 18U Mustangs
🏆 Meghan Potvin – 18U Broncos

The recipient of the 2026 Kerry MacLean Scholarship is:

🏆 Isaac Archibald – 18U Stallions

The recipient of the 2026 Christina MacLean Scholarship is:

🏆 Katie Madden – 18U Palominos

Congratulations to all of our recipients. Your dedication to academics, athletics, leadership, and community service reflects the very best of the Maverick spirit. We wish you continued success as you begin the next chapter of your journey and look forward to seeing the positive impact you will make in your communities and beyond.
