I have always believed that sport, and particularly the sport of volleyball, could enrich and change a young life for the better. The lessons learned from being in a team atmosphere, reaching a common goal with others, discipline and hard work can provide a multitude of necessary life skills. In so doing, this positive environment can result in future confident leaders in communities everywhere. I am proud to be a part of the MYOF Board in the hopes of providing many opportunities where there may not have been for our youth community.
