Sheila Roy

Sheila is a passionate and dedicated leader, committed to her family, youth, mentorship, health, and non-profit initiatives. She is excited to combine these passions with her extensive life and career experiences to successfully launch the Maverick Youth Opportunities Fund (MYOF).

Sheila has a robust professional background in executive management, governance, public affairs, strategic planning and communications across diverse non-profit sectors including sports, health, social services, and education. She infuses her knowledge and enthusiasm into every aspect of this new initiative, ensuring its success and impact.

As a parent of three competitive athletes and a volleyball coach within the Maverick Volleyball Club, Sheila has seen first-hand the power of sport and the essential skills that it instills in young people. She is excited to contribute to the next generation’s development in her volunteer role at MYOF, ensuring every young person has the opportunity to thrive both on and off the field.
