Maverick Volleyball Club is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Scholarship of Excellence are Mia Ladd, Sasha Wiens-Chetelat, Philip Dahl and Kaelan Frost.

All four athletes have demonstrated a remarkable commitment to excellence within their academics, athletics, and community involvement. We are so proud to see these athletes give back to their Maverick and volleyball community as well by either coaching or refereeing!

Maverick Volleyball is proud to announce the recipients of the inaugural 2023 U18B and U18G Scholarship of Excellence are Zachary Shewan and Marie‑Pierre Gauvin.

Both athletes have demonstrated a remarkable commitment to excellence within their academics, athletics, and community involvement. We applaud their accomplishments and are cheering them on as they continue their volleyball career within their post-secondary teams. Go Mavs Go!

Receiving the Maverick Scholarship of Excellence was a true honor! The scholarship highlights not only hard work and dedication to volleyball but also to school and community involvement. Having the opportunity to apply to the scholarship inspired a sense of pride and motivation in me to continue striving for excellence. Being awarded the Maverick Scholarship of Excellence solidified my passion for the sport, my commitment to playing post-secondary volleyball and my dedication to my studies.
